Memorial-Tuong Niem

The souls of the just are in the hand of God,
and no torment shall touch them.
They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead;
and their passing away was thought an affliction
and their going forth from us, utter destruction.
But they are in peace...
Those who trust in him shall understand truth,
and the faithful shall abide with him in love,
because grace and mercy are with his holy ones,
and his care is with the elect
(Wisdom 3: 1-3, 9).

"The Community welcomes our benefactors as members of
its spiritual family who share
with our Priests, Brothers, and Sisters
the goal of Christian charity with all its spiritual benefits
while living and even after they depart this life.
The names and pictures of our benefactors are kept
in the archives of the Community, since our benefactors
are a source of financial assistance in expanding the
humanitarian projects of the Community and
enabling its members to benefit the poor"
(from our Constitution).

In life and in death,
members of the Community of Charity and Social Services
are in debt to our friends and benefactors who journey with us
in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ
through their life of prayers, sacrifices, and financial gift.
We remember them at our daily Mass,
during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament,
when we pray the Divine Office and the Holy Rosary,
and when we meditate on the Word of God.
Even when serving the poor, we recall their presence in our midst.
May they now rest in peace,
and may perpetual light shine upon them.  Amen!

Following are the pictures and names
of our deceased friends and benefactors
by order of the month they passed away,
so we can properly recall the anniversary of their departure
from this world.
They are forever in our hearts and in our prayers!
We ask their prayers for us also!
